OPP is reminding drivers to check and renew any expired licenses as their Traffic Management Unit has observed a recent rise in infractions.
Driving with an expired license in Ontario can lead to fines starting at $325, potentially affecting demerit points and insurance.
Drivers can conveniently renew their licenses online through the Service Ontario website and can also register for free reminders via email, text, or phone.
To renew, drivers need a valid driver’s license number, health card (if updating), and postal code.
