The Heritage Sarnia-Lambton network is hosting a virtual Heritage Hour program on Thursday, November 21st, at 7:30 p.m. This one-hour event, called Legends of Lambton, will explore the fascinating lives of important people from Lambton County’s past. The panel will share lesser-known stories of both famous and infamous individuals who helped shape Lambton County into the lively community it is today.
The presentation will feature representatives from local museums, including Dana Thorne from Lambton Heritage Museum, David McLean from Forest Museum, Greg Stott, a historian at University College of the North, Kailyn Shepley from Sombra Museum, and Nicole Aszalos from Lambton County Archives. Erin Dee-Richard from the Oil Museum of Canada will moderate the discussion, bringing out surprising connections and inspiring moments from the county’s history.
