Today is Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks face off against Petrolia tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Dylan Bradburn is a first-year player with the Exeter Hawks, joining the team as an over-ager. He plays as a left winger and wears jersey number 22. Dylan grew up in Thorndale and has been playing hockey since he was three years old.
His early years in hockey saw him play for the Ilderton Jets in minor hockey, where he faced many of the current Exeter players. He later started his junior career in Lucan before moving on to Thamesford, then Dorchester. Seeking better opportunities, Jimmy was traded to the Hawks, where he has found a strong sense of team chemistry and camaraderie.
Having played in various environments, Jimmy is excited about the energy in Exeter’s locker room, describing it as one of the best he has experienced. The team’s close-knit atmosphere, where everyone is motivated to win, made it an easy choice for him to join the Hawks.
He is particularly inspired by the team’s strong fan base, noting the passionate crowd that fills the stands and adds energy to the game.
Dylan aims to help the Hawks achieve success this season, with the goal of winning their division and pushing for a Cup championship. He told myFM that not only would a championship mean a lot to the team, but also the fans!
Dylan is committed to giving his best for the Hawks, and with the support of both his teammates and the dedicated fans, he’s focused on making this season one to remember for the Exeter Hawks.
He has this message for Hawks fans ahead of tonight’s game.
Go and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
