Huron County OPP has charged a North Huron resident with impaired driving after a traffic stop on January 11th, in the Township of North Huron.
Around 11:50 p.m. on January 11th, officers were patrolling in the Village of Blyth when they stopped a snowmobile. After speaking with the driver, police determined the person had been drinking.
The driver was arrested for impaired operation and taken to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, where breath samples were collected. The results showed the driver was over the legal alcohol limit.
A 21-year-old from North Huron, has been charged with impaired operation over the legal alcohol limit. The snowmobile was towed and impounded for seven days, and Button’s driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
