The Liberal Leadership race is underway, looking for a new leader of the Federal Liberal Party and a new Prime Minister.
myFM spoke with Aline Lamere with the local Federal Liberal Association, who provided us a timeline for the leadership election.
Once all of the candidates have declared, Liberals across the country will cast their vote for the new leader. Lamere shared with us who can register to vote.
As of Monday morning, candidates so far for the Liberal Leadership race include Mark Carney, Chrystia Freeland, Karina Gould, Chandra Arya, Jaime Battiste, and Frank Baylis.
