Huron County has launched its 2025 Supporting Local Economic Development (SLED) program, which provides grants of up to $10,000 to municipalities and registered non-profit organizations.
These grants will support projects that align with the county’s strategic priorities, including workforce re-engagement, education, and skills development.
Other focus areas include business district and sector support, community economic development, tourism initiatives, and programs for youth and newcomers that promote a sense of belonging.
Applications are open until April 17th. A panel of local economic development professionals will review submissions and select projects that demonstrate clear economic benefits, include collaborative partnerships, and can be completed by December 31, 2025.
